Well I finally finished Baldur's Gate after playing it on and off for several years and with the recent threads praising BG2 on this forum it seemed obvious that I should give it a whirl. Problem is that as I was installing I didn't realize my laptop battery was low and it died in the middle of install. When I plugged it in with the AC adapter I deleted the Black Isle directory and removed the add/remove programs option for BG2 from the menu. Now, when I go to install again, I put in the first cd and it only give me the option to play the game rather than install. Anyone know how to fix this? TIA!

Open the CD in Explorer or My Computer and look for "setup.exe" that should be the InstallShield wizard. "Repair/reinstall" or "Install" options are probably what you need.

Also, try going to your control panel and use Add or Remove Programs.
That should wipe all the little registry entries.
