Problem installing audio driver (Sis 7012)

When I try to install the audio driver, here is the message I get: "the name is already in use as either a service name or a service display name"

I tried uninstalling the display driver but that didn't work. any ideas?

no one? this came after reformatting a computer. surely this isn't the first time this has happened
