Problem installing 3rd Party Palm Software

I have several Bible "prc" applications that I tried hopelessly to "install" onto my Palm. The install application process seems to work fine when I synchorize but when I go to find the Icon its not there...... It has loaded because I can go to the "delete" option and the program shows up on the list of applications but there is no Icon....to tap...
