Problem in unreal tournament

Does anyone have a problem in unreal tournament with a............Asus P3V4x And a Logitec 4 button USB scroll mouse? Me and a friend both have similar setups and every once in a while the mouse freezes in the server menu. My other systems with ps2 mouse never freeze in unreal. I tired every thing like different patches and ways of instsalling unreal tourney and it never matters, I always will get a random lockup sooner or later...but never in quake3.
 
I have an MS Intellimouse Explorer USB and im getting it to. It will lock either in the Menu select screen or between games.

Are you using WinME?
Also i Am using a Via chipset, mebbe that has something to do with it
 
Em, strange. I don't have the problems u guyz are describing and have a similar setup. Does it only happen when your online?
