Use DDU. Download HERE (follow instructions for use with "safe mode"). I run it twice. If you've ever had nVidia drivers installed run it in both AMD and nVidia mode 2X. Then reinstall drivers.

See if that fixes it for you.

Sounds like you need to reinstall the drivers.

You could try reinstalling your card as well.

Pull your card out and reseat it; looks like Windows is doing its thing there and not reconsing your card....

also make sure power connectors from psu are fully connected.

Thank You Guys.

I did everything you said, but the problem still exists.

I do not know why my video card is not recognized

EDIT: NVM saw someone recommend power cables already haha.

OH I just had this problem. I'm not questioning your intelligence, but - are the power cables securely connected?

When I connected my 290X I forgot to connect the power cables, Old days, BIOS would stop and flash big warning "FOOL!" (sarcasm) this time booted fine into windows no issue except I couldn't install drivers, basically Windows didn't recognize the card.

Felt like a FOOL! when I realized I didn't connect the power cables, then went normal as is.

Looks like it's using the windows generic driver instead of the AMD driver.

Did you actually install the driver or just deselected everything except CCC when installing? It seems possible to uncheck the AMD display driver when installing through custom installation
