Problem in booting PLEASE HELP!!!!

Wherever i start my PC & switch on the monitor it shows "NO SIGNAL".

this problem was there earlier too but even after repairing,it has resurfaced again.

PLEASE HELP!!! is this a s/w or h/w related problem

You say after "repairing", what was repaired?

Next question, is the VGA cable connected tightly to the back of the video card?

More details would help. How old is the PC? How old is the monitor? Where there signs that something was going bad, like lines on the screen, or funky colors?

To answer your question it's definitely a hardware problem. The question is it your video card or monitor.
