Im currently overclocking my DS3l board and i want to try to push it as far as it can go.

The only problem is that if i have to reset my bios i think im going to be in trouble.

To get my 8800gt to work i had to put my 6800gt in and then update the bios and then put the 8800gt back in.

Am i going to have to do this if i have to restore my bios or is there an easier way.

I heard something about changing the bios on the video card will work?

Any suggestions please let me know.....

You've got resetting your BIOS all wrong. When you reset your BIOS, it doesn't change the BIOS in any way whatsoever, it only resets the BIOS settings back to their original settings. Whatever BIOS you're using when you do the reset will still be there, just like it was when you originally loaded that particular BIOS.

That's correct, and it makes no difference whether you remove the battery when you reset the BIOS or not. Your BIOS would have to turn itself on, and reflash your last BIOS, before it would even be possible to end up with the BIOS that you've replaced, instead of your current BIOS.
