Problem HD Burn Optirite

I just recent bought a Optirite DVD burner. I tried burning with HD Burn which is double the capacity of regular CD-R's. I burned a disk but when I try to read it either freezes or goes into a blue screen say dumping of physical memory. Can anyone help with this Problem??
