I have a Gigabyte X800 XT (non Platinum) and I downloaded the latest BIOS from Gigabyte, but I have run into a snag. I read that the update fixes a VESA issue, and I thought that it might cure the flickering problems I have had with the card. Well, I did as instructed....put the BIOS on a floppy, used a boot disk, tried to run the update, but it tells me that "This VGA card not supported." Well, that is just asinine. There was only one update for my card, which is RX80T8V.F2. I did look at what my BIOS version was, and it was RX80T8V.F1. So, what's the problem? I contacted Gigabyte (anonymously, of course) and they were no help whatsoever. I don't know if this voids my warranty by flashing the BIOS, but at this point it really does not matter, because I can't get it to work anyhow. Any suggestions for getting this BIOS flashed? Here are my system specs -
