Hi,
I have a couple of RAR archives with unicode filenames that gives an error when I wanna extract them. The filenames don't come out right within WinRAR either. Does WinRAR support unicode as well? How can I extract those files?
How else would someone have created the RAR file if WinRAR didn't support unicode filenames? You might have better luck with the command line tools, google showed me this: http://www.rarlab.com/rarnew.htm which contains : If archived Unicode name is invalid, RAR 'l' and 'v' commands display ASCII file name instead of corrupt Unicode.
Thanks. I tried the rar l/v but it said that the file isn't a RAR archive, but obviously it is since I'm able to open the file, just not extract the files from it.
