Problem executing Jar files in WinXP

I'm trying to run a java-based html editing program called Arachnophilia and cannot get the jar file to run under WinXP for the life of me. The Java Web Start program says something about <jnlp> file missing... Any hints?

t-bird 1 gig proc
256ddr ram
60 gig (plenty of space) drive

in case anyone is curious about these things...

I have the jvm and jre installed, have no problem running web-based applets, but jar files will *not* execute 🙁

Help!!
