PROBLEM DFI nForce3 motherboard suddenly just died.

I switched out the XP-90c off and put the stock copper heatsink. The temperature of the heatsink rose a bit...up to 46C loading but I didn't think of it much. And it just died. I turned it on again and it died again. I was smelling heatsink problem.
