If I try to create an email link to my email: ollie(at)socal(dot)rr(dot)com it screws it up.
test
The workaround I had to do was put a space before the 'o' when I create the email link. That way it breaks up the ':' from "mailto:" and the 'o' from my email address.
Ok. It seems a similar thing happened when I tried to create a link in my signature. The very first time I create the email link, it correctly points to ollie(at)socal(dot)rr(dot)com, however, if I edit the post or edit my signature, it adds a "mailto:" right before the actual address. Am I making sense?
test email link (I just hit edit, but did not change anything in the post, and now this email link no longer works right)
this link works as long as I don't click edit again
I guess it looks like the problem is that an extra "mailto:" is added whenever Edit is clicked, or Update for profile.
Also, I assume that this problem does not only exist for email addresses beginning with 'o', but for those beginning with any letter or character that would turn into an emoticon if preceded by a colon (like the colon in "mailto:").
