Issue is: one desktop with XP home cannot connect to the internet.
Previously, I had 1 wireless access point, and the desktop could connect fine. There were sometimes dropouts in other parts of the house, so I added a 2nd access point using powerline + spare router. I disabled DHCP on the 2nd router, used the same SSID, and set it to a different channel.
Problem is now the desktop cannot connect. I keep getting: Connected/Disconnected/Acquiring Signal etc. every few seconds.
Note that if I put a dual boot laptop with Windows 7/Vista right next to the desktop, I can connect. Something must be misconfigured somewhere on the desktop, but what is it? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.
