Problem connecting to the internet.

Hi all,
We are trying to connect to the internet with one of our network machines at work. It is connected to a Novell network. I can get the modem to connect but when I start the browser, it won't load any site. Also the e-mail prog. won't connect.
This machine is running Win 95.
Any suggestions?
