Problem connecting my Comp to my TV, help please!

Hey guys, I'm having a problem connecting my computer to my TV. The specs of my computer is: AMD XP 3000+, PowerColor 9600XT, 512mb PC2700 and I'm trying to connect to a Panasonic TH 42PD60U (a 42" Plasma EDTV) http://shopper.cnet.com/4014-6482_9...brpt=4582&cip=1

I'm using an S-video cable to connect to my TV, and everytime, the screen just flashes continously in only black and white. Basically, I can tell that the comp is connected because I can tell the bios and windows startup screen, but the TV flashes the image very quickly and only in black and white. I've tried connecting my laptop and my other comp to the TV with no problem, so I'm not really sure what the problem is.

I've also tried to use powerstrip and use their EDTV configuration, but the same problem persists. One thing that I think MIGHT be causing the problem is the connection to my video card. I'm connecting the S-video cable straight into the video card and not through an adapter (not sure if one came with the card or not).

If any of you guys know any solutions or suggestions, I'd appreciate it.

All I can do to help is suggest using the lowest res possible, boot up with the TV connected, and check for bent pins.
