problem burning ISO...1 mb too large???

So I have this DVD .ISO image that I've mounted in my trusty daemon tools and it produces a dvd that's 4484MB. The problem is I try to burn the image either from the mounted drive (dvd copy) or by loading the ISO. Nero 6.3.1.6 promptly ejects my TDK 4x dvd-rs making my Lite-On 812s a worthless piece of crapola. Any suggestions?

The file is too big for single layer DVD. Anything above 4.36 GB is DVD 9. (Dual layer)

actually, i have seen Nero 6 report slightly different sizes for blank DVDs from different companies, im talking +/- 10mb, but that may be your problem. try using a different brand/speed/type(+R/-R) of disc
