Problem booting UT NF4 ultra D with usb device attached

Every time I plug in a USB device and restart, the system freezes at the flashy Lanparty splash screen. If i disconnect the usb and reboot it works fine. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening ?

I jsut installed it all so am using whatever drivers were built in (was hoping i wouldnt have to install new ones as ive never done that before 🙂 )

Did you install the mobo chipset drivers at all ? ie the Nvidia NForce 6.53

Also flash to the 3/10 bios.., make sure you plug all 4 mobo connectors in..

Also post your computer spec's.

310 worked, thanks. My printer now works again 🙂

Im now getting a strange problem with my webcam. If i plug in the usb cable when xp is running then it works ok (xp find the driver and the web cam can be run). if i reboot then windows forgets i have a webcam 🙁 . In the device manager it says something about the device could not be started becasue it returned error code 10 (but that seems like a catch all sort of error code).

Anyone experienced this ?
