Alright, I play this online game called Counter Strike Source. Well all went good until suddenly while I was playing, I was x'ed out of the game and this stupid error message pops up... see below.

Well anyways, then I exit out and log back in to play again. Well after a good 15-20 minutes or so, it happens again. Sometimes it happens or never at all. What's the issue?!

When you googled for that error message and got roughly 245 hits (for the first part, up to DX8), and you tried the suggestions in the hits, did that help you? You might limit the search by adding "counterstrike" to the end as well, so you'll get 154 hits.

I believe I am running an ATi Radeon 9800xt pro, the last time I tried to update my drivers, the game wouldn't work at all.
