Problem after installign a new harddrive and using the previous boot drive as a secondary drive

Ive done this before without any issues but this time Im having a big problem. I bought a new 200 gb drive, installed windows XP to it and and set everything up wth no problems. I then took my old hard drive that also had a windows XP installation on it, made it the slave drive on the same cable and installed it into my system.

The previous time i did this my old boot drive simply became the E: drive and I could go retrieve my old files from the "My Documents" folder on the E: drive (my old C: drive) with absolutely no problems.

I did the same thing last night with another system, but now when I go to the "My Documents" folder on my old hard drive, now the E: drive, I get an "access denied" message when trying to open the folder. Anyone having ideas what went wrong this time around?

Did you use the "make this folder private" option for file sharing? Or use NTFS encryption? When you're logged in now, are you logging in as an administrative user or a limited user?

I am signed in as an administrator account, Im the only person that uses this computer. I dont think that the My Documents folder properties were ever changed...or set up for sharing.
