Probably so easy compared to what you guys do... but question about unlocking a 1.4ghz tbird

Hey all. Until a few days back I had a 200fsb tbird unlocked with the pencil trick running on an Abit kt7a-RAID. This worked fine, all multipliers were available to use with any given fsb.

a few days back I switched to a Soyo Dragon Ultra Platnum kt333. I put the chip in, and it detected itself as it's normal 100fsb self, with a 14 multiplier. No problem I tell myself, I'll just switch to 133/10.5. No post. Okay, well, I must have ruined a connection when I applied the heatsink. I took it off, redrew the bridges, same deal. Getting ticked off now, I start going through the bios quickly, and somehow managed to set it to 100/6... and it posted. 7 and 7.5 multipliers won't boot. 8 will, occasionally. 133/10.5 posted correctly... ONCE. 100/14 will always work correctly, as does the 100/6.

Now, I thought unlocking was an all or nothing sort of deal... and even if it wasn't, why the heck would it post at the desired speed once but never again? I'm a confused boy... any words of advice?

yep, completely removed with an eraser, and then reapplied in about 5 coats or so of graphite... I actually tried reconnecting the bridegs 4 or 5 times tonight thinking I screwed it up, but I'm 99.9999% sure that isn't the case

have you made sure none of the bridges are shorting each other out
(like no other bridges are connected to each other)

do you still have the old board to try it in?

also i did not know they made 1.4ghz w/ 200fsb lol
