So I've been pretty successful setting up my new rig and drooling over my new Samsung 172T.

My internet connection is a cable modem which goes to a D-Link 604 router, then to three computers all running WinXP Pro. The new one is based on an ABIT IS7 which has a built-in 3com Gibabit ethernet connection, which I am currently using.

Anyway, on to the problem. My internet connection is working fine on the IS7, but when I try to set up file sharing I get an error message. I've been running the "Network Setup Wizard" in XP and everything seems normal, but at the end it just says "An error occurred during the configuration of the network on this computer." So long story short, I can't share files with any other computer on my LAN. Any ideas on what's wrong?

Also, upon further inspection, it appears I have some sort of WMI error.

I "failed" all of the network diagnostics tests except the e-mail one. It says "Unable to connect to WMI service '\root\cimv2' " Is that directory corrupted or something?
