Prob with SoundBlaster Live! XGammer 5.1

I am have a problem with XGammer 5.1! The problem is that when I first got the card sound was working fine! Then 1 or 2 days later I lost the sound from 2or3 speakers while trying to Play music CD's thru Playcenter2 or thru WinAmp! I have sound thru windows sounds and games. It's just when I am trying to Play music CD's!My sound card is on it's own Irq and there doesn't seem to be any problem with the sound card because installed it on my server to see if it was the sound card and it wasn't! I had the same problem with SoundBlaster live! Value, thats why I bought the XGammer 5.1 . but as it turns out I have the same problem! I think that it is either the mobo or that there isn't enough power comming from the power supply! I have even reformated and did a fresh install of win98se! Has anyone else have a problem like this and if so what can I do so that I can get my sound back! I really need help with this one!
 
Hmmm, this might not be what you are looking for, couldn't fully understand your first couple of lines. You make sure the audio cable from the CD-Rom is connected to the soundcard?

Did you make sure the cd-rom volume is unmuted?
 
Go to the mixer and make sure it is not muted(cd audio). Also check your speaker setup, and make sure you have the proper speaker setup selected.
 
Thanks I am was able to get sound out of all 4 speakers now! it was the surround mixer for the sound card! It was set to cd-rom digital instead of standard cd-rom! But I am still unable to play cd's thru Playcenter2! Does anyone have any Idea why that is!
