GeForce Ti4200 64MB (i got one of the earliest/cheapest releases...)

anyway, I'm having problems running games in full screen with my video card. Some games try going into fullscreen and just disappear without even saying "illegal procedure--must close" or anything, and some do that when exiting fullscreen. If you need more technical info about my video card, i'll try to post it asap. thanks
 
Have you tried the latest video and chipset drivers and installed any patches for the games?
BTW, Welcome to the forums if you haven't been welcomed yet.
 
are you running directX 9? Some of the Ti cards DO NOT LIKE IT. Try going back to DX8.1 if you are and see if that helps.
 
i haven't really tried anything. i don't know about patches for the games i mentioned. one is an emulator... i do update the drivers, but nothing's changed.

i don't know if i had directx9 or 8, but recently i got direct9beta or something.... but i had problems before it.
