Prob with A64

I was playin with my buddies new computer, A64 3200+ and I looked in the bios settings and noticed his corsair XMS PC3200 was running at CL 2.5. I changed it to CL2.0 in the bios, and the computer seemed to be working perfectly fine, but today he calls me crying that "I screwed it up". Could I really have screwed it up? It was working perfectly fine while I was on it:\

It's impossible to screw up memory, just by changing the timings. The worst that would happen is you would have to reset the cmos (bios chip) for him.

Tell your friend to stop crying and learn to clear CMOS if that's what the problem is. Sound more to me like you're "friend" fubared his setup and is looking to blame somebody.
