So, when i first upgraded my compy last week, from a 2500+ Barton with a GF3 Ti200, to a DFI Ultra-D, 6600GT (MSI, PCIx), and a AMD 64 3000+ and a GB o RAM PC3200, I ran 3D MArk 2003, and got a score of over 8000, at 1280x1024 4xAA and 4xAF.
I then decided to reformat, since I did not before the upgrade.
Now when I run 3D Mark, I only got a score of a little over 3000, with the processor OCed to 2.3Ghz, and the video card OCed to 570/1.13. So i figured that one of the OC's must be the prob, since I was running the RAM at a 3/4 ratio (275x8.5 for processor @ 1.7V). So I then changed everything back to stock speeds. same numbers for the benchi, but slightly lower. so then I though mabye i didnt run the test at 1280x1024, so i lowered it to 124x768 with 4xAF 4xAA and my score went up to a little over 4000, still FAR lower than both what I initially tested at, and where the back of the box says I should be at, and where everyone else on the web is at... not sure what the problem is... any insights?
