After repeated "logins"with the "login successful" blurb, the sys continues to show not logged in.

Was ist los?

If the goes through, of course, it is at lease logging in temperarily.
 
Sheesh. Cookies are off here. Whoda thunk login status is stored remotely. Must be in a FAQ somewhere, I'm sure.

Some days I don't learn anything. Not today.
 
Danke, oldsmoboat. The server must do some hand shaking using the cookie to retrieve the proper forum page reflecting login status.
