hello, i ' setting up a lil trading w/ this guy who email me 2 weeks, ago, and he wants me to send it to his house in south carolina, and give hime the tracking #, and then he'll shipped. But how can i reallyt trust him? anyoen can say they shippied it, but how do i knoe for sure??
Is there like a thingy thta u cn do atthe ups, that tell them to hold it for that adress????ne kinda of backbone to back up if, i was trick to sending my own stuff out??
plzz help me out...

don't trust him

that laptop is about $2000 at dell

a new PS2 is $300
backups are probably worth $5-10 each

he'd have to be an idiot to do that deal

You're definatly getting a MUCH better deal then he is, no ps2 system is worth that laptop. That alone would set me to wondering if he's legit.

By definition, cross shipping is when you both drop the item in the mail the same day. Unfortunatly, there's no way to verify the other party has shipped.

Edit: Roger is the guy you need to talk to, I see he already replied. Trading on AT is much safer thanks to him :)

but my ps2 package has everything 100+ games, 2 ocntroller, emory card, gs2...eh
he wants to crossed ship, he said i shiped to his hoem in carolina, and give him the tracking #, and if verythign check thourgh, he will shipp the same day.
i'm thinking of sippign th enon expensive stuff first and see if he's gonna ship, nd if he does i'll shipped the ps2.
does the trcking # really do anthign beside showing u that it's being delivered??

My God. I normally don't harp much on spelling and grammar, but come on. You really expect people to understand what the hell you just wrote?

This is EXACTLY how alot of Trolls operate.
If he does not post here at AnandTech,Then DO NOT trade with him.

If he was a legit trader,he would be posting here.

45% of the complaints I recieve are from members getting burned by Trolls who contact them by email only.

The deal is too good to be true.
