I don't have bad acne, but I get an occasional stubborn break out. My boyfriend has been saying I should try it, but before I spend $50 on something, I want to know if anyone else recommends it. Or if there's anything else you would recommend.

my sister uses it and she says there has been an improvement.

if you can't stick to a regular routine with it though, it won't work. i think it's at least a three step process - cleanser, toner, and moisturizer.

It will bleach your pillow cases.

Has peroxide in it.

My wife uses it and it works but has that negative.

I used it worked great for about a year and change

then I guess I got use to the benzo because it wasnt as effective, like when I first used it.

it does work but you can get the same/better items from the supermarket or online for less $

acne.org regime works alot better (at least for me)

actually i forgot about that side effect. my sister's hairline is a tad lighter because of it, and she noticed some of her towels were looking bleached in spots.

Strange, my brother says he hasn't had a problem with his pillow cases or his hair. And he uses an older towel when using it so the good bathroom towels don't get messed up.

IMO Proactiv is a complete waste of money.

You can buy a salicylic acid based cleanser, benzoyl peroxide cleanser, and a moisturizer/sunblock with some salicylic acid in it for about $15 and in the end you get the same exact products.

You could say the same thing about any computer from Dell, HP, Alienware etc... People pay more when all they have to do is buy one thing that has everything they need and instructions so they dont have to think at all.

True, but motherboards, CPUs, etc. aren't on the same exact shelf with their prices/totals clearly visible and easily calculated sitting right next to the Dells. But yeah, I guess Joe Consumer would rather grab the kit and go as opposed to just checking the active ingredients and grabbing the three bottles right next to it.

I use Johnson & Johnson Clean & Clear Continuous Cleanser(damn, isn't that a mouthful?)

I've tried many, many different things, and this works best as long as you use it twice a day. Basically, it's face wash with time release benz peroxide. It also has a nice cool feeling.
