I find it amusing how they call them Pro-U.S. rallies... looks like they are trying to make anti war rallies anti US.

Agreed. It's not pro-US but a pro-WAR rally. I think the following quote is pretty instresting (I think it was someone else on this board who posted this earlier)
"Of course the people don't want war... But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders... That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

Right, but they get 90% of the anti-war coverage on FOXnews.....
...and CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, etc. etc. etc.
Well yeah, I'm just picking on Fox since their news tends to be the most sensationalistic and moral-outrage-inducing. 😉

Bush followed this script pretty well.

And protesters 35+ years ago have what to do with protesters today?
Striking similarities, seperated only by years.

A lot of misguided leftist fools, most of whom are the same people who stage protests against the World Trade Organization meetings, college kids looking to protest something just for the sake of protesting something, that impetuous 'uber idealist' age where you're driven by that 'need' to have your own impact and identity which is rooted in a rejection or 'rebellion' of the world your parents created, nudged along by the leftist academics who you think are deities because they're all knowing, some getting college credit for protesting, and many whose objection is purely political and would be singing a different tune if it were a Democrat waging war against Iraq as President Clinton wanted to do but didn't have the fortitude.

Lots and lots of similarities....

When the anti war people bring up the U.S. helping Saddam in the 80's everyone for the war says that's in the past.. or times change.... well.. times change buddy.
