Just when Pro-Lifers thought it couldn't be any tougher to save & defend lives (unborn babies and deathrow inmates,...), there may be a NEW enemy stopping the miracle of life; BABIES.

A professor found that when babies reach around 18 months of age, they begin to wake up more frequently, even if they are not hungry – a pattern more pronounced in breast-fed infants.

Professor David Haig at Harvard University, the author behind the study published in the ‘Evolution, Medicine, and Public Health’ journal believes that babies wake their mother to prolong her lactational amenorrhea – the temporary postnatal infertility that happens when a woman is not menstruating and is breastfeeding.

By doing so, the baby delays the birth of younger siblings, and enhances its survival.

Babies, are stopping other babies from being born.

Now, since these little bastards are already out, I take it there will soon be a push to prosecute and imprison these life preventing dirt bags.

And, if they push for the death penalty, the Pro-Lifers can kill (no pun intended) two birds with one stone; allow for the creation of a fetus (by imprisoning the baby stopping it's parents from screwing around) and then saving that same criminal from being executed!!

The . . . ahem . . . rhetorical excess of the OP's title is understood, but not necessarily appreciated.

So OP, you're a genius who compares infertility to... abortion?
Nice to know you're keeping it real 'bro!

Maybe progressives should just push to provide welfare benefits for "clumps of cells" and kill 2 birds with one stone. After all, you do keep going on about how you want abortion to be 'rare' (along with safe and legal) plus imagine all the right winger head explosions.

You mean Moonie? He had to change IDs recently, same goes for Lunar Ray too (though he stopped posting on that account over a month ago). It's dissociative identity disorder. He can conceal his IP a half dozen different ways via VPNs, but he can't hide being a dipshit.

I hadn't noticed that moonie and LR were AWOL.
This fellow seems to have a different take on stupid than moonie though, and I find it hard to believe that he could change tracks. Moonie is a one trick pony, he has two acts and never varied his show, do you really think it's him?

Well, that's the deal with DID, they would have different styles, because they're different personalities rattling around in his head.

This isn't pro-life, but it is pro-conscription of mothers being forced to care for their children, because we live in a world where child abandonment is punishable by law.

If the mom can't handle a baby that is making her wait too long for her next kid, or just can't handle the crying. She should be free to abandon that baby, nothing should trump her freedom to personal liberty.

Not a pro-life, but definitely a pro-liberty thread.

Please tell me this is sarcasm.
