Michael Vick is NOT having a Pro Bowl worthy year. I don't understand that one.

Good to see William Henderson in there, finally. He's been a great blocking back for a long time.

The Falcons went from zero to what, 11-3 this year? How is that not? His individual numbers might not be Manning in comparison, but his leadership to the team speaks volumes.

I would say that Dunn and the O-line had a lot to do with that. I know Vick is the "leader," but his game is not consistent.

he is the only other big name QB in the NFC, besides culpepper, mcnabb, and favre.

Steelers got 6 spots!!!

Vick's passing stats are weak, but you also have to account his rushing yards - 7th in the NFC 889 yards & 1st in the NFL at 7.6 yards per carry. Also the intangibles, he makes the team play better overall whenever he plays. Anyways, who else besides Vick is worthy in the NFC? You could say Favre... but who else? Griese, Bulger, Hasselback, Delhomme? I think Vick was 4th in the NFC in fan balloting, so that would mean the Coaches / Players voted him in.

Pro Bowl is only a popularity contest anyway, not an indication of how good any of these guys really are. The AP All-Pro team is a better delineator of how well these guys played this year. Heck, even the All-Madden team is better than the Pro Bowl.

fan vote isn't even close to a majority, although the other 2/3 is somewhat based on bias and not just stats/performance. This isn't Brady's best year and he's a lock if only because he's a favorite amongst everyone (fans and analysts alike). Trent Green is having a better year and has been solid his past 3 years (he's the only QB to have a passer rating above 90 3 years in a row, including Peyton). Granted Brady hasn't needed to be as much of a factor with Dillon in the lineup, who actually missed the Pro Bowl...IMO he deserves it more than Brady but w/e, it doesn't matter, there wouldn't be as many people watching if it wasn't a popularity contest. Yes it'd be a "dream team" but just as the 2004 Mens Olympic "team" proved, a "team" is far more successful than having a roster full of all-stars (heck, the Pats won 2 superbowls without many super stars), certainly we're not throwing the players together to see the greatest game possible played out, we do it to see our favorite players make flashy plays.

It's not about the number, it's about the image 😀

I think Atlanta's record might have more to do with it than image. If it was just fan voting like in baseball, then, you would be correct about image.
