Need recommendations for boards, cabinets, amps, and processors.
Our band is looking into PA equipment but no one really knows what's good and what's crap. Obviously the big names like Makcie, JBL, Yamaha, and Peavy are going to do pretty good. What about others though? I've been told to steer clear of Behringer, but what about Crate?
I've got a BT-350 amp and dual 12 cabinet that does pretty good. How are they for live sound? i.e. boards and PA cabinets? What about power amps? I know that QSC and Crown are good, but they're $$$ too. Are the others that are good?
Basically I'm asking in the following categories of Amps, Cabinets, Boards and processors, what to go with and what to stay away from and which brands will get me the most bang for the buck.
