private student loans?

my sister needs money to attend a community college and she needs to take out a loan
anyone know of best private student loans that i should look into?

If you havent already, you might check with the school. From my experience schools have offered better deals on loans than any of the banks that I've checked with.

The ones I'm taking out are through my bank. FASFA rejected me on basically all forms of financial aid (being in the middle class sucks) and my parents don't want to do the parent-student loans (PLUS I believe) so I had to resort to my bank. 🙁

oh by the way, she can't get it through the school since she is not a citizen or a permanent resident. She is in the process of obtaining her permanent residency but she can't get any financial aid so we have to resort to taking out a loan. We went to bank of america today, i was wondering if there are any better ones with lower interest rates or something?

Don't do private loans. dangerous because the interest rates will bend you over and uhh... You know.

hm.. i know that they offered it definitely on a previous occaison but I can't seem to find the page.

i have one thru citibanks student loans... the government only lets me borrow 2 grand or so. rates are really low right now, i think i'm at 3.9% or something. i wish i could consolidate it all now and lock in some of these low rates now.
