I give up on public schools. All my kids learn there are bad words. How does a regular working stiff afford to send three kids to a private school? Are there some Republican Vouchers or Tax Credits we can use?

Private school won't change your kids potty mouth. They will hang out with the same type of people regardless of where they are.

They don't, it's a stretch to send one kid to private school on a regular working stiffs salargy unfortunately.

See if there is an IB or gifted program in your public schools around you, kids are usually as good as the people around them.

You're going to have to face facts as a parents that if you kids don't learn bad words from the television, movies, or music, then they're most definitely going to learn them from the other kids anyway no matter where they go. Private schools have the same types of kids as public schools, but the parents have more money.

On top of that, if your state offers vouchers, then you can be even more certain that your kids will be around the same children that use bad words since other parents probably had the same idea.

I would say your best bet is an International Baccalaureate program. They are gifted programs that are run through public schools, and you can get into them based on merit.

Besides that, no matter where you send your kids, staying involved with their education is the most important thing. Don't let the state raise your children...

No the oldest was still sweet in third grade, back when neighborhood kids went to their nearest school. Now in fifth grade he is surrounded by WWE watching rednecks from across the tracks who try to impress eachother with dirty jokes all day. His teacher has divided the class into the good half with the girls and pets and the bad side with the hooligans and unwashed masses. I am about ready to tell the administrators that we are going to homeschool all of them (insert South Park jokes). I work out of my home office and my wife does not have an outside job.

Lord help us, next year Junior High starts.
