private mode in icq pro won't invisible

Hi,

just install ICQ pro, and when i set to private mode, everyone will still see me, and not only that, they see me in private mode.

how can i really invisible?

The only people who can see me when invisible are the people I contact first or set the option that allows them to see me invisible. I think there are privacy options that say something like "only to the people on my contact list".

In advanced mode, the options are under Privacy/Security. I'm not at home, so I can't say exactly.

I don't have ICQ installed at present. I am rebuilding 2 PCs. I set all the options to only on my list. There was a menu like area for file xfer, accepting msgs, chats and many other things. The only way someone can then see you is if you set the option for each person to see you. There is also a setting to block people from viewing your status via www.icq.com.
