Prius racers

those guys probably think every sports car they encounter wanted to race a prius. it's like my 4 yr old nephew thinks he really beats me in a race.
 
WTF I refuse to believe that is even real. No one can be that stupid, and for a whole group of people?

0-6mph race? WTF?
Off the line? WTF?
 
the hybrid camry is faster than the prius. higher top speed too. they did a hybrid line up in road and track mag month or two ago

While I think these guys are living in happy fun delusionland, I must admit the concepts involved in racing electric/hybrid cars are interesting.
 
No, no *pauses to grab a breath while laughing*, THIS is the BEST QUOTE:

the prius tops out at 108... yeah.. i know.. it does 107 easy.. does 108 easy.. and you still get 15mpg... but that's it.. you can't go faster than 108.. trust me.. i tried when racing an M3 down a highway.. all downhill.. only reason he beat me ( i had low profiles on the car) is because he tops around 150.

but i'm pretty sure there are prius modders that race. as there are also prius modders that just go all out for extreme mpg. ussually with battery upgrades so it can run mostly electric on overnight charge
