I thought it was pretty damn funny that they sneaked out for the purposes of making a beer run. No one was hurt in the course of this and they all came back to the prison. I'm not holding these guys up as heroes, but I do find the entire situation humorous.

If they'd killed or injured people during the course of an escape and fled the scene, that's an entirely different ballgame.

The guys who SHOULD be getting their asses chewed are the people in charge of security. Obviously someone was asleep at the switch and failed to notice them sneaking through a hole in the exercise yard fence or making multiple trips to the store for beer.

If you dont see the problem with not punishing criminals for escaping on a beer run, then anything I try to say to you in order to convince you otherwise is probably a waste of time.
