looks like Lane will have to get used to those prison cells. up to six years seems so little for killing someone. doesn't seem right. also, unless his passengers were relatives, he apparently likes hangin' out with teenie boppers.
LADIES: take a look at this hunky actor, soon-to-be inmate
BEVERLY HILLS (AP) ? Prison Break actor Lane Garrison was charged Thursday with manslaughter and drunken driving for a crash that killed a 17-year-old boy in his car.
The 26-year-old actor was charged with felony vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, felony driving under the influence causing injury to multiple victims, felony driving with a blood-alcohol level above the .08% legal limit causing injury, and a misdemeanor count of furnishing alcohol to a minor.
He could face up to six years and eight months in prison if convicted.
Garrison was expected to surrender Thursday afternoon for arraignment at Beverly Hills Superior Court and prosecutors will recommend he be held on $200,000 bail, district attorney's spokeswoman Jane Robison said.
Garrison was behind the wheel of a Land Rover that jumped a curb and struck a tree on Dec. 2.
The crash killed Beverly Hills High School student Vahaghn Setian, 17, and injured two 15-year-old girls who also were in the car.
Police said Garrison was found to have a blood-alcohol level of .20% and cocaine in his system.
The charges only indicate that his blood-alcohol level was above .15%.
His attorney, Harland Braun, did not immediately return a call for comment. Braun previously has said that Garrison met the three youths at a grocery store and accompanied them to a party, where he had one drink.
Garrison, a Dallas native, played David Tweener Apolskis on the Fox drama series Prison Break.
