Printouts are blank as user but prints fine as Admin?

Brother J870dw wireless inkjet.

today a friend needed a computer so i loaned him my laptop and created a separate user acct for him so he doesn't mess up anything.

when he tries to print to my wireless printer from his acct, everything comes out blank.
when i print under the Admin acct, it prints fine.

Laptop is Win7 pro with all the updates.
Any help?

Do you see anything in the print preview in his account? Did you try delete printer and add again in his account?

deleted printer driver from all accts on laptop and reinstalled as admin.
now the admin acct doesn't print?!

the only diff is that I had the admin acct printing duplex by default.
set it to duplex. it prints. set user acct to print duplex. it prints.

so it prints if its set to duplex but not single sided?
WTF?!
