Printing very slow all of a sudden

Whenever i try to print something form a Windows NT 4.0 SP6a PC to an Epson 860, through a print server, the print spooling is unbearably slow. It takes about 45 seconds to a minute to spool an average sized document. This PC never had a problem until just recently, which is strange. The print server is a dual 733 Pentium III with 1 GB RAM, so i cant imagine that taking up all the memory to spool

I have cleared space on the HDD, reinstalled the printer, changed port settings, all to no avail. Any other PC which prints to the same printer prints fine.

So what could be happening to that PC to not want to spool quickly all of a sudden?
