printing to a Mac from Windows

I am tring to print from XP pro SP2 to a printer that is locally connected to my sisters Mac OS 10.4.9 laptop. She has an Epson Stylus photo 1270.

I can access and connect to her printer via the network. Printer sharing is turned on on her computer and I even have her printer set to be shared. Yet when I send a print job to it is either just sits there with out erroring out or disapears.

any help or suggestions.

I looked up online but it seems most of the fixes require command line editing. since it is not my computer I would rather not screw things up.
