I lost that option when i reinstalled windows a while ago and want it back. I cant seem to find where it is though to install it again. can anyone help me. It was a microsoft piece of software that came with windows i think
I have win98se and office 2000sbe

What you need to do is make sure that the Microsoft Fax service has been installed on your machine (you can check this by going to te Add/Remove Programs Control Panel Applet, clicking on Windows Options). Once you have verified this, then click on START --> SETTINGS --> PRINTERS. Click on Add New Printer. This will bring up the Add New Printer wizard. Go through like you would install a printer, except that you want to do two things. One is to make sure the printer you install is the Microsoft Fax Printer, and second is the port it will "print" to. The port will be the COMM port your modem is conected to.

If you have furhter problems, post back.
