printing professional quality brochures?

Hello, I am currently in market for a color printer. I need it basicly for printing color brochures. I am guessing about 1000 -2000 copies of color brochures per month. I am planning to use those thin glossy type of paper with it. It would be nice to able to do close to professional quality brochures. The brochures will come within letter or A4 sizes. I am not too concerned with cost per page as much as the quality. I was wondering what type or model of printer will suit my needs better? Laser, Color ink, dye-sub, thermal transfer, I dont really have a really set budget, 2000 max I guess. Please help me out on picking a printer any way possible. Thanks.
