Hi notebooks gurus!

I have the above notebook, 128 ram, 6GB hdd (4GB free) which is not printing with 3 diff. printers (HP,Lexmark, Canon).

The parallel port is working, I have used it with an external cdrw (4x4x24) with no problems.
Drivers for printers are installed, one at a time. Everything shows as working fine but from the first page printing, the process stop, paper get stucked.... the Lexmark makes the noisy message "problem communicating with the printer".

Could this be a problem with memory (virtual memory possible)???

Your expertice is more than welcome, thanks in advance!

You might want to make sure that the Parrallel Port is
set to Bi-Directional in the BIOS (not ECP or EPP).

Also make sure to clear out any files in your USER \ Temp directory
(Documents and Settings \ <username> \ Local Settings \ Temp)
An open file in the Temp directory will play havoc when spooling a print job.
