I have a simple 2 system network connected by a hub. How do I get a HP 722 to print from other system? All i get is a jumbled mess. I have same drivers on each computer. Any help is greatly appreciated 🙂

1) Enable Printer Sharing on host computer
2) Share your printer
3) Add a printer on the client computer
4) Select shared printer
5) Point toward drivers

OR

3) Goto Network Neighborhood
4) Double click on host and find printer
5) Double click printer
6) Follow prompts to install

Did all that at least twice.

I went to HP's website and everytime someone had same/similar problem the answer was not available. I'm wondering if the drivers are not network compatable.

Here is another way to go about it.

Install the drivers on each computer as "LPT1" and then manually mapping the ports.

Under properties and ports, change "LPT1" to "//HOSTNAME//SHAREDPRINTER" for the port.
