Printing from IE7 on a Vista Laptop

I have a new Dell Laptop with Windows Vista loaded. Every time I print a web page from IE7, IE7 imediately closes/crashes. I am using an HP 1000 laser printer and do not have any other printing problems. Any help would be appreciated.

See if it is the browser, or if it is IE7 - can you dl a copy of firefox and try printing from that.

This will make it easier to diagnose your problem.

Welcome to the forums.

Wonder if it may be a driver issue? did HP ever come out with a Vista driver yet?
according to this article it should be out soon.
May not be reason but.......😕

Well at least that is narrowed down to IE7 more than likely.

Could try uninstalling the printer driver, rebooting, then reinstall driver and try again.

Don't really know what else to suggest - as McEvoy says, might even be a buggy
driver.
