Printing from DOS troubles...

We have a Lexmark Optra E310 laser printer attached locally (LPT1) to a PC that's running Windows NT 4.0 w/ SP4. We run a DOS based banking app which we need to print from. All was well and working fine until today when it just stopped printing. Tried printing from a DOS window and that doesn't work either. I've re-installed drivers. Nothing. Printing from Windows and any other Windows app works fine. When you send a print job the light on the printer doesn't even blink, and it makes no noise or anything. Anyone know how to get this thing to print from DOS?!?
 
Off the top of my head, I'd say try resetting the printer back to its factory defaults, assuming it has such a feature.
