Could anybody tell me what the differences are between the Canon S900 and the Canon S820D. I know the s900 is faster and the s820d has the lcd display. Are there any other differences such as maybe output quality?
 
They use the same inks, the same number of different inks, IIRC even the same print head.. Output quality is exactly the same. Differences in the 8xx and 9xx series are just in speed and features. The "D" suffix ones have an operating panel to print directly from camera media. Some models can print zero-margin photos, others (introduced earlier) can't. This is what to look out for.
