For whatever reason, after a reformat (dead hard drive) i cant get my HP photosmart 2610 to install. Keeps giving me errors regarding a supposedly missing usbhub.sys driver (incase it matters, no im not using a usb hub, just one of the 6 built in onboard ports on my evga 780i mobo).

Honestly dont know what to do on this one as it worked without issue for months prior to now, and as far as i know, aside from it being a fresh install of windows (xp64) and the possibility of slightly newer nforce drivers, nothings different.

So at this point im just curious if anyone has a list of printers that have xp64 drivers that just work?

The on board ports are organized as roots and hubs (two or more) with the individual ports branching from the hubs. Try checking your mobo maker's web site for 64-bit USB updated drivers. Failing that, check your mobo's chipset maker's site. If it's a USB problem then other printers would probably have a problem as well
